Rather than ask the real question - "What made this game different and refreshing and how can we push those elements in more accessible directions?" - product managers and corporate executives like to ask counerproductive questions like "How can we totally alter this game to sell it to an ever bigger audience that couldn't care less what made the first game so different and refreshing?"

About this site:

The first, last and only thing Sega fans ever have to say when I try to tell them my site is about stoping comapines from ripping gamers off is:

"Huh, huh, yeah surrrrreeeee! Don't you know all companies are just out to make money?"

Now, I can see why some Sega fans feel this way. For nearly 20 years now they have been getting sold half-assed games and poorly supported systems by the "good" people of Sega. On top of that the Microsofts, Eletronic Arts and Ubi Softs of the world haven't done much better for their customers and are causing gamers all over the world to become jaded, dissapointed and broke. But even with all of that the hard headed belief of so many Sega fans that no companies are out there to do anything other than make money has no merit. Yes there are plenty of bad companies out there and even more importantly bad people but these executives and bean counters can't make games. They know quite a bit about making money but they can't make games. The games are still made by gamers and many of the same gamers who share the same dreams and goals of the people who originally started the gaming industry.

But even with all of these good people who want to make games for others to enjoy that alone isn't enough. To actually make a game it must not only be made but also published. These days thats where the whole process goes wrong. Developers want to make a quality game but Publishers want to make money. Developers want to make games they beleive gamers like them would enjoy and yet publishers want to publish a game that they can sell to as many people as possible. Sometimes the developers get their way and a great game is created. But too many times these days publishers get their way and a game thats far from great is made instead but sells well because of deceptive ads and dumbed down gameplay designed for casual gamers. The soultion for this problem is for all the true gamers out there to find and support the developers who want to make quality games.

Sega Slayer's Anti-Sega website has been bringing light to the crimes of Sega for over 8 years now and I, under the nick name of Sega Slayer, have been trying to open the eyes of Sega fans for longer than that. Today my site has two goals. One, to reveal the lies and deception of bad companies like Sega, Ubi soft and more. But just as important, two, to bring attention to good comapnies, publishers and developers alike, who make quality games as their first priority and make money second. Beleive it or not Sega fans, both of those facts are true. Check out to articles below to see the evidence.
